Khula Bursary Company (KBC) Locked-In Model & Donation Platform
Bursary Model
KBC innovated a locked-in model that addresses a student’s full set of needs, within a locked-in value chain for bursary donations, aligned to the administration of an education institution. This mitigates any potential risks with regard to the execution and management thereof.
Implementation
KBC implements this model per institution and its impact area in order to easily and without any risk execute on the locked-in model.
Where
Nelson Mandela University is the first institution participating in KBC’s locked-in model for a student’s full set of needs and where there currently is a dire need for student support.
Future Scope
KBC is already executing on their pipeline for more institutions to participate in order to have a national footprint.
